Marlena Hunter, M.A. in Counseling Psychology
Ms. Hunter studied and earned her Master's of Psychology degree in counseling psychology specializing in Marriage Family Therapy. She has training and experience and worked with individuals who suffered from Mood, and Anxiety disorders such as Panic Disorder, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ms. Hunter realize that family is also important during this process of change and therefore, encourages families to be a supportive to those who are in therapy. Ms. Hunter also specializes in behavioral therapy, ADHD, and not only has the patience, knowledge, and experience with children, she also inquires the behavioral therapy skills to help a child change his or her behavior.
Ms. Hunter is a Certified Anger Management Counselor Facilitator offering daily live zoom classes. She has extensive training, research and experience in the field of Psychology and years of providing individual and couples therapy. She believes that relationships are important with life stressors. Couples therapy can help both partners see the relationship in a more objective manner when couples find themselves in distress.

Ms. Hunter has several years of experience working with individual, couples and children. She specializes in integrative psychotherapy including psychoanalytic psychotherapy, family systems, gestalt therapy, existential therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Ms. Hunter is also a certified Anger Management Counselor, and a certified TMS & NEBA CEEG Technician.
